Pawn Broker / Sales Associate
Location: Fairbanks, AK
Pay: $160 per day
Schedule: 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM
Part-time to Full-time | 2–7 days per week (flexible scheduling based on business needs)
TDL Staffing is seeking a dependable and customer-focused Pawn Broker / Sales Associate to join a fast-paced and unique retail environment in Fairbanks. This role blends customer service, sales, and basic lending transactions, making it a great fit for someone who enjoys variety in their day and working with a wide range of products.
In this position, you’ll assist customers with appraisals, loans, and purchases while using a computer-based system to manage transactions. No two days are the same — from evaluating items to helping customers find what they need, this role offers a mix of retail, finance, and inventory-based work.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist customers with loans, payments, and retail purchases
- Evaluate and appraise a variety of items based on condition and value
- Enter and manage transactions using a computer-based system
- Maintain organized inventory and assist with general store operations
- Provide friendly, professional customer service in a fast-paced setting
What We’re Looking For
- Comfortable working with computers and learning new software systems
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Reliable and adaptable with a flexible schedule
- Interest or familiarity with products such as tools, jewelry, or firearms is a plus
Minimum Requirements
- Ability to work a flexible schedule based on business needs
- Comfortable working at heights and using ladders to retrieve inventory
- Background screening is a part of the hiring process for this position
- Must support a drug-free work environment
