Accounts Payable Technician

Location: Fairbanks, AK**
 Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM**
 Pay: $23.00 per hour, depending on Experience**

TDL Staffing is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Accounts Payable Technician to join a busy and professional Fairbanks office. In this role, you’ll help keep daily operations running smoothly by preparing and processing vendor invoices, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring timely payments.

 

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with numbers, takes pride in accuracy, and can stay organized while managing multiple priorities. Strong communication skills, reliability, and a positive attitude will help you succeed in this role.

 

Responsibilities Include:
 • Preparing and processing vendor invoices for payment
 • Reviewing, coding, and routing invoices for approval
 • Ensuring timely and accurate payments to vendors
 • Reconciling accounts and researching discrepancies
 • Maintaining detailed electronic records and reports
 • Preparing tax deposits, ACH vouchers, and monthly aging reports
 • Assisting with check runs, warehouse receipt reconciliations, and related accounting tasks
 • Performing other duties as assigned

 

Minimum Requirements:
 • High school diploma or GED equivalent
 • Associate degree in Accounting or related field; or equivalent combination of education and accounting/accounts payable experience
 • Minimum of one year of accounts payable experience preferred
 • Exposure to government contracts a plus
 • Pre-employment drug screening and background screening are part of the hiring process for this position
