The Greater Fairbanks Chamber of Commerce is seeking an Events Coordinator to join our small-but-mighty team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to contribute to your community by supporting businesses of all sizes in Interior Alaska. You will have primary responsibility for planning and implementing the Chamber’s weekly, monthly, and annual events, providing opportunities for enterprising people to learn and connect.
The Events Coordinator is an essential part of the day-to-day operations of the Chamber. To be successful, strong communication skills and good teamwork are essential. You will need to think creatively while also being highly organized. You also must be able to move multiple projects forward simultaneously while tracking conflicting deadlines.
At a minimum, this position requires a bachelor’s degree or 4 years of prior experience. Previous work experience in a relevant field is preferred.
