    Are you ready to take charge of high-profile projects in one of the most dynamic and challenging regions in the country? We’re looking for a seasoned Commercial Construction Project Manager to oversee every phase of construction—from strategic pre-construction planning and budgeting to on-site execution and successful closeout.
     
    In this role, you’ll manage complex projects across Alaska’s diverse landscapes, working with top-tier subcontractors and guiding teams to deliver exceptional results. The ideal candidate is a decisive leader with deep field experience, a passion for problem-solving, and the ability to thrive in fast-paced environments.

    Your day-to-day:
    • Plan, coordinate, and oversee all aspects of commercial construction projects statewide
    • Develop and manage project budgets, schedules, and cost controls
    • Supervise on-site personnel and subcontractors to ensure quality and safety
    • Communicate effectively with owners, architects, engineers, and internal teams
    • Ensure compliance with contract documents, building codes, and safety standards
    • Manage procurement, change orders, and project documentation through completion
    • Identify and mitigate project risks while maintaining productivity and profitability
    You need:
    • 10+ years of commercial construction project management experience preferred
    • Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and scheduling/project management software (e.g.Excel, Word, Procore, MS Project)
    • Proven ability to lead teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously
    • Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
    • Ability to manage and work effectively across Alaska’s varied locations and conditions
    Strongly preferred:
    • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field
