UAF Leadership Workshop Series

The Northern Leadership Center (NLC) at the University of Alaska Fairbanks (UAF) is now accepting applications for a Leadership Workshop Series for the summer of 2013. This four-day workshop series is based on the highly successful UAF Summer Leadership Institute, and is designed to develop leadership skills for students finishing 9-12 grade. The topics for these daytime workshops held at the UAF Community and Technical College will include personal leadership, communicating and motivating others, taking a stand, and service leadership. The total cost for this series is $100, which includes fees, meals, and program curriculum. Some scholarships are available on the basis of demonstrated financial need.
