These are the museum research labs where faculty members actually perform research on specimens they find while conducting field research. In these labs are actual dinosaur bones, tools used by people living in Alaska thousands of years ago, as well as a taxidermy raven that is so lifelike you expect it to peck you! These labs are only opened to the public on special occasions. This is a behind the scenes look at the research that makes our museum exhibits possible.
Also, running now in our special exhibit space is Hibernation and the Science of Cold, featuring live hibernating ground squirrels, video feed from a bear den, as well as activities for children of many ages.Date and Time
