FNSB Community Planning
The FNSB Community Planning Department has partnered with Eielson and Fort Wainwright planners to develop land use tools to promote compatibility between military and civilian land uses. The Joint Land Use Study (JLUS) was the first step. The FNSB Assembly adopted an advisory noise overlay into the zoning code in 2015.
