The Joint Land Use Study (JLUS) was the first step. The FNSB Assembly adopted an advisory noise overlay into the zoning code in 2015. The JLUS implementation working group is now focused on safety and density standards within the military's Accident Potential Zone and height standards within the military's flight clearance surface.
