FHP's 1st Care Clinic is MOVING
November 06, 2025Foundation Health Partners (FHP) announces the upcoming relocation of its walk-in 1st Care Clinic from its current location on Noble Street to the Fairbanks Memorial Hospital (FMH) campus. The move marks a major step in FHP’s ongoing initiative to increase integration across its network of outpatient clinics and hospital-based services, creating a more seamless, holistic care experience for patients.
The current 1st Care location will close at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 2, 2025, to begin the transition to the new site. The clinic will be temporarily closed on Dec. 3, 4, and 5 during the move and will reopen at 8 a.m. on Saturday, Dec. 6, 2025, at its new address: 1650 Cowles Street, Fairbanks, Alaska.

TVC FAMILY MEDICINE has a provider available for walk-in visits on the days that 1st Care is closed for the move.

Beginning December 6, at the new campus location, 1st Care will continue offering the same services and hours of operation—8 a.m. to 7 p.m., seven days a week—supported by the same trusted team of board-certified physicians and advanced practice clinicians. The phone number will remain unchanged: 907-458-2682.
Patients will find ample, convenient parking near the new 1st Care Clinic entrance. The Fairbanks North Star Borough MACS Transit Purple Line and Van Tran will continue to provide public transportation to the FMH campus bus stop.
The 1st Care relocation aligns with Foundation Health Partners’ broader efforts to upgrade its facilities, streamline patient flow, and strengthen continuity of care between clinics and hospital services.
