May 5, 2026 – Across Alaska, young people are quietly making their communities stronger. They are organizing service projects, supporting neighbors, standing up for others and stepping in where help is needed most. Alaska Communications is inviting Alaskans to help recognize these young leaders through its Summer of Heroes program, which celebrates youth who demonstrate compassion, initiative and a commitment to helping others.
