EXTERIOR/WATERFRONT HOUSEKEEPING SUPERVISOR Waterfront Lodge — 243-Room Property
 
ABOUT THE ROLE
Waterfront Lodge is looking for a hands-on, motivated Exterior/Waterfront Housekeeping Supervisor to join our leadership team. Reporting directly to our Executive Housekeeper, you will oversee the cleanliness and upkeep of our stunning waterfront and outdoor areas, while supporting overall housekeeping operations across our 246-room property.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Supervise and lead a daily team of 20–30 housekeeping staff across interior and exterior areas
- Assign and inspect daily workloads ensuring all waterfront and outdoor spaces meet property standards
- Step in hands-on when needed — this role works alongside the team, not just above them
- Place and track supply orders and maintain inventory levels
- Use computer systems for scheduling, reporting, and communication
- Write and implement housekeeping policies, procedures, and staff expectations
- Assist with hiring, onboarding, training, and performance management
- Conduct disciplinary actions and document incidents appropriately
- Walk the full property daily — including docks, walkways, patios, and outdoor guest areas
- Collaborate closely with Front Desk, Maintenance, Food & Beverage, and other departments
- Address guest concerns related to cleanliness and outdoor spaces promptly and professionally
- Ensure all health, safety, and sanitation standards are met
 
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- Previous housekeeping supervisory experience in a hotel, resort, or lodge setting preferred
- Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions
- Strong leadership with a lead-by-example attitude
- Basic to intermediate computer skills (scheduling, email, inventory)
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to walk extensively throughout a large property daily
- Team player who communicates well across departments
- Bilingual a plus
