RED CROSS ADULT FIRST AID/CPR/AED/BLOODBORNE PATHOGENS

Would you know what to do in a cardiac, breathing or first aid emergency? The right answer could help you save a life. With an emphasis on hands-on learning, our First Aid/CPR/AED courses give you the skills to save a life. All course options align with OSHA’s Best Practices for Workplace First Aid Training Programs and are available in classroom and blended learning formats.
First Aid: Learn how to respond to common first aid emergencies, including burns; cuts; head, neck and back injuries and more.
CPR/AED: Learn how to respond to cardiac and breathing emergencies in adults, including the use of automated external defibrillators (AED). Adult and infant/child CPR options available.
Bloodborne Pathogens Training: This training module is designed for first responders, health care professionals, lifeguards, and other workers who are at risk for on-the-job exposure to blood and body fluids that can cause infection. This course helps to meet training requirements for the OSHA bloodborne pathogens standard.- How to help prevent exposure incidents through work practice, protective equipment, personal hygiene and proper cleaning and disinfecting of equipment.
- How to recognize, report and follow up on exposures to infectious materials.
