Pet Awareness Day

It's Companions Inc.'s 30th birthday! Come celebrate thirty years of therapy pet visits with Pet Awareness Day on March 14, noon to 4 at the Fairgrounds.  Everything about pets! Meet the breed, petting zoo, therapy dogs, demonstrations in dog sports, gift & crafts booths, fresh grilled hamburgers and hotdogs, a sweet bake sale,  and a huge silent auction. Dogs can test for the Canine Good Citizen certificate, call for more information.  A fundraiser for Companions, Inc., Fairbanks' own therapy animal organization, bringing pets to comfort seniors, hospital patients and more.
