Our start time is 11:45 a.m. for sign-in, with the program running from 12:00-1:00 p.m. This presentation is approved for SHRM and HRCI credits.
This training will introduce basic concepts concerning “non-binary” sex/gender classifications and terminology and help HR professionals understand employment law issues for non-binary employees in the workplace. Topics covered will include the following:- Non-Binary Gender Classification

HR Professionals will gain a deeper understanding of non-binary sex/gender workplace and employment law issues and how to lower legal risk while promoting a productive and respectful workplace.
Presenter
Faith Rose is the Associate General Counsel for Doyon, Limited: Faith joined the Doyon Legal Department in 2010 after working for twenty years as a commercial and employment law attorney in Alaska. Her work for Doyon centers on legal risk management, contract review and drafting, human resources advice and counsel, managing litigation matters, Native law, policy drafting, ethics and compliance.
Faith holds an undergraduate degree with honors from the University of California at Santa Cruz with a major in Art History and a minor in Music. She earned her Juris Doctorate degree, with distinction, Order of the Coif (top 10% of class) from University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law in Sacramento. She is licensed to practice law in Alaska, California and Florida.
When not working at Doyon, Faith is artist in residence at The Greater Light Art Studio. Faith creates stained glass, beadwork, and paints portraits and landscapes in acrylics, for commercial sale and charity donation.
