The 1st Stryker Brigade Combat Team, 25th Infantry Division will host the 2010 Native American Heritage Month Observance Nov. 23 at 1 p.m. at Fort Wainwright?s Physical Fitness Center.
The Fort Wainwright and neighboring communities are invited to attend the observance and listen to Mrs. Shirley Holmberg, the Prevention Coordinator and acting Prevention Program Manager for the Tanana Chief Conference of Fairbanks.
This year?s theme for Native American Heritage Month is ?Life is Sacred, Celebrate Healthy Native Communities.?

The event is free and open to the public. Civilians wishing to attend must stop at the visitors? center at the Fort Wainwright main gate with driver?s license, registration and proof of insurance.
