IEEE Geoscience and Remote Sensing Society's Luncheon Lecture Series

Greg Walker, manager of the University of Alaska Unmanned Aircraft Program and Poker Flat Research Range, will be the featured speaker at the inaugural talk in a new lecture series developed by the IEEE Geoscience and Remote Sensing Society. On Tuesday, June 5, Walker will present "Using Unmanned Aircraft as a Remote Sensing Platform in Alaska" at 11:30 a.m. in the Copper Room of the Fairbanks Princess Riverside Lodge. The lecture will be the first in a quarterly lecture series titled "Remote Sensing of the Last Frontier" that will bring a wide variety of remote sensing topics of interest to academia and the Fairbanks community.
Join friends and colleagues at this lecture and luncheon. In order to cover expenses, there is a charge for attending this special event. The cost is $20 or $10 for students.
