Celebrate Alaska Agriculture Day and the United Nationals International Year of the Family Farm. The Tanana Valley Farmers Market and the Co-Op Market Grocery and Deli will explain two of the ways locally grown foods get from Fairbanks area family farms to your family's table.
About Ag Day:
National Ag Day is a day to recognize and celebrate the abundance provided by agriculture. Every year, producers, agricultural associations, corporations, universities, government agencies and countless others across America join together to recognize the contributions of Agriculture.
Alaska Business Week
Alaska Business Week (ABW) is a one-week summer program teaching the basic principles of private sector business to Alaskan high school students. Participants live on campus, where they grow as leaders, mentored by Alaska’s business elite.
UAF Coop Extension
