The Fairbanks North Star Borough chapter of the AMIA (Alaska Marijuana Industry Association) is holding its First Annual Fairbanks Community & Cannabis Industry Conference at Pioneer Parks’ Alaska Centennial Center for the Arts to introduce the Fairbanks community to their local state licensed cannabis industry.
Presentations, Activities and Job Fair including presentations by:- Ancillary community businesses
- Cultivators, Retailers, and Manufacturers
- State Marijuana Testing Facility
- State Marijuana Investigator
- State Marijuana Control Board Member(s)
- State and local Alaska Marijuana Industry Association (AMIA)
- Cannabis industry job fair
- State of the Industry speech presented by State Marijuana Control Board / State AMIA board member, Brandon Emmett
- Ancillary local business and community presentations
- Local cannabis business presentations
- Cannabis industry and community education presentations
- Open panel Q&A session between the community and cannabis industry leaders
- Industry and Ancillary business booths
- Registration for “how-to” cannabis classes
- Snacks / drinks
- Raffles and door prizes
This is a 21 and older event, everyone will be requested to show ID before entering, no exceptions.

Pre-registration admission: 5 cans/boxes of food or $5 per person

Door admission: 10 cans/boxes of food or $10 per person
Conference admission is by food donation or entrance fee. Canned meat, pasta, cereal, rice, soup, granola bars, dried milk and canned vegetables are accepted. All canned or boxed items must be unopened and not expired.
