Alaskans For Better Elections
In 2020, Alaska voters made history by becoming the first state to adopt top-four nonpartisan primaries, the second to vote in favor of ranked choice voting, and became the nation’s leader in campaign transparency laws. These reforms directly address several problems by liberating state and federal lawmakers to govern in the public interest, put voters first, and work across the aisle to find common ground. So what are the major changes? How will the public learn more about the changes? How can you as a community member help?
