Featuring Dr. Mary-Claire King, American Cancer Society Professor, Genome Sciences at the University of Washington
Dr. King is an award winning scientist who discovered the BRCA1 gene, and who's research found that, when mutated, this gene increases the risk of breast cancer.
The presentation will teach our members about inherited mutations and risks for cancers for those having such mutations. Knowledge is power and members will learn how to manage their health risks and those of their families.
