Broadly, you'll be responsible for the following areas:
- Strategic leadership and financial oversight
- Operational excellence and accuracy
- Collaboration and market insights
- Inventory and logistics optimization
- Market engagement and travel
You need:
- Associate degree or equivalent experience, bachelor’s degree preferred
- 3 years of experience in procurement or purchasing
- Minimum 5 years' experience in the retail industry
- Strong Alaska fishing and hunting background and/or involvement in hunting and fishing in Alaska
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and applications
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to think strategically
- Experience with product planning, sales forecasting, and managing multi-million-dollar budgets
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the desire to build lasting relationships internally and with retail partners
- Demonstrated experience and success in a leadership role
