Plans are set for our 14th Annual Gala Affair. This year, DeeDee Jonrowe will be featured as our guest speaker. Come listen to stories of her journey with cancer, the many hardships she has recently overcome, and her plans for the future. Local favorite MC and auctioneer, Robert Prince, will also be joining us again this year. Please plan to join us for this semi-formal event on Saturday, October 6, 2018 for a fun evening of auctions, entertainment, and dinner at the Westmark Hotel to raise funds for The Breast Cancer Detection Center of Alaska.
Revenues from this fundraiser will support BCDC programs such as the Mammo-Assist program, which pays for mammograms for those who cannot pay, education materials for our new learning center, and maintenance funding for our equipment and mobile mammography truck.
