Live from Laurel Canyon: Songs & stories of American folk rock
-
The Fairbanks Concert Association presents American folk rock with Live from Laurel Canyon. Ride along on a 90-minute journey through a time when a generation of youth went searching for a sound that helped define them, a sound that shared the protest and awareness of folk music and the attitude and look of rock music. Much more than a tribute act, Live from Laurel Canyon performs the music you love and shares the stories that inspired them.
Live from Laurel Canyon celebrates The Mamas and The Papas, the Byrds, Buffalo Springfield, the Doors, Crosby, Stills & Nash, Neil Young, James Taylor, Carole King, Joni Mitchell, Jackson Browne, Linda Ronstadt, America, and the Eagles with their own unique interpretations of some of the most iconic songs of the era.
