Having clear dark night skies with as little light pollution as possible is key to Fairbanks success as a world-renowned northern lights destination. Drew Carhart will talk about what destinations such as Flagstaff, Arizona have done to reduce light pollution in their community and what the benefits are from both an economic and energy standpoint.
