Fairbanks Chamber Weekly Business Presentation: "Star Light, Star Bright: Economic and Energy Benefits of Dark Skies"
Featuring Drew Carhart, Founding Member
Illinois Coalition for Responsible Outdoor Lighting
Having clear dark night skies with as little light pollution as possible is key to Fairbanks success as a world-renowned northern lights destination. Drew Carhart will talk about what destinations such as Flagstaff, Arizona have done to reduce light pollution in their community and what the benefits are from both an economic and energy standpoint.
Our Board of Directors has required that all participants at Chamber events wear masks until further notice. Please plan to wear a mask covering your nose and mouth any time you are not actively eating or drinking. Thank you, in advance, for your assistance with our efforts to continue holding in-person events!
