    The Greater Fairbanks Chamber of Commerce (Fairbanks Chamber) is seeking a dynamic and proven leader to assume the position of President and Chief Executive Officer (CEO). This is a prime opportunity for an enthusiastic, progressive professional ready to take the Chamber to higher levels. The ideal candidate will be hands-on and goal-oriented, capable of leading and managing both employees and volunteer teams. Strong communication and organizational skills are fundamental to this position. The Fairbanks Chamber has more than 650 members, 6 full-time staff, and a current budget of $990,000.

    The successful applicant will be comfortable raising funds from the business community and seeking support from the broader community, federal, state, and local governments. A demonstrated political understanding and the ability to relate to diverse groups of people in varied settings are critical to this role.

    Senior executive experience in corporate, political, community, or not-for-profit management areas is required, with the ability to manage membership; budgets; meetings and events; organizational goals, strategies, and priorities; and fundraising. Accomplishments and experience in managing operations and relationship management will be a top concern of the Fairbanks Chamber with this position.
