    Event Description:
    Get involved with research that matters to you and your community! An independent, UAF-led research team is exploring questions related to indoor vs outdoor air quality, and public opinions regarding Fairbanks and North Pole air quality and decision making. The goal is to better understand the unique characteristics of outdoor and indoor winter air pollution in Fairbanks and North Pole, from both a chemistry and social perspective. The purpose of this meeting is for the research team to introduce their project and hear feedback from community members in the form of concerns and questions regarding winter air quality in the Fairbanks and North Pole communities. All community feedback will be helpful for the beginning stages of the research campaign. At this meeting you can also learn how you can be more involved in this indoor vs outdoor air quality research through joining the community advisory group or working with scientists to design research using the Purple Air monitoring network.
