The UAF School of Education embraces a practice-based approach to preparing teachers for Alaska's future. This presentation will provide current information on UAF's high quality, accredited educator preparation programs and highlight some exciting current initiatives at UAF related to increasing the number of Indigenous teachers in Alaska's schools, creating a 21st century learning space for future teachers at UAF, and some of the ways we ensure our graduates are prepared to teach in tomorrow's schools.
