Felix-Con 2025 - Golden Days Festival

The Felix-Con event is a lively kickoff to Fairbanks' Golden Days festival, celebrating the city's gold rush heritage. Held on Saturday, July 12, 2025, from 6:00 PM to 8:30 PM, it features a Felix-Pedro look-alike contest and a bar crawl through downtown Fairbanks. Participants are encouraged to dress in old-timey attire or sport a mustache reminiscent of Felix Pedro, the Italian immigrant who discovered gold near Fairbanks in 1902—a find that spurred the city's gold rush and eventual founding.
