This is an invitation-only event aimed at providing business leaders, local elected officials, and military leadership the opportunity to engage with each other in a casual setting and continue the dialogue on how we can all partner for the best possible was created to strengthen and develop the military-business relationships in the Greater Fairbanks community. Participants spent the evening networking in a casual atmosphere, exchanging contact information and learning about ways they can collaborate.
“There is great appreciation and support within the community for our military partners,” said Tim Jones, the chair of the Chambers Military Committee and the Vice President of Administration at the Doyon Utilities, “and there is great appreciation and support at Ft Wainwright and Eielson AFB for our community, but with the regular turnover of military leadership, turnover among our elected officials, and new faces in our business community, it can be difficult to maintain personal relationships. We hope with this event to create or renew these important relationships between our community and our local military leadership.”
The Greater Fairbanks Chamber of Commerce would like to thank the generous sponsors that made this event possible:
