Human Resources Coordinator
Posted: 05/09/2026We are seeking a Human Resources Coordinator to join our team full-time. The Human Resource Coordinator aids with and facilitates the human resource processes at all locations. As the Human Resources Coordinator, you will conduct bi-weekly payroll and are responsible for recruitment, screening candidates, scheduling interviews, and conducting onboarding and offboarding for all locations.
Essential responsibilities:
In coordination with hiring managers, posts job announcements on various platforms, i.e.Indeed, LinkedIn, etc. and monitors the progress of open jobs. Posts open positions internally and on the company website.
Review job descriptions regularly, ensuring they are consistent with each other and reflect actual job duties.
Responsible for coordinating the recruitment and interview process in conjunction with hiring manager(s). Screens candidate resumes, may perform telephone interviews, and forwards recommendations to hiring manager(s).
Assists in developing and implementing programs to minimize employee turnover and encourage employee retention.
Responsible for the employee onboarding process to include in-person orientation and enrolling employees in all required software applications. Performs offboarding of employees at termination.
Prepares and maintains new-employee personnel files to include required government forms (W-4 and I-9), verifies I-9 documentation and maintains I-9 files, employment applications, and other in-house documentation.
Assists controller in the administration of health and welfare plans, including enrollments, changes, and terminations. Processes required documents through payroll and insurance providers to ensure accurate record-keeping and proper deductions.
Conducts biweekly payroll by monitoring and correcting hours worked, exporting hours to payroll processing software, applying leave hours, ensuring withholdings are accurate, and committing payroll by required time limit.
Monitors performance review schedule and tracks timely receipt of documentation.
Assists management with the performance review process as necessary.
Performs internal communications throughout the organization with an emphasis on managing employee relations in the areas of safety, wellness, and/or employee benefits.
Reconciles benefits statements and provides statements to employees on a quarterly basis.
Assists controller in updating internal company documents such as employee manual, procedural manual, and benefit plan documents.
Coordinates travel arrangement for employees, management, and/or ownership required to travel on behalf of the company.
Qualifications
Bachelors degree in human resources or related field and/or equivalent experience. At least two years’ related experience required.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Working understanding of human resource principles, practices and procedures.
Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
Preferred Qualifications
SHRM-CP credential preferred.
