Day to Day
Our client is looking for a Senior Electrical Engineer to lead their 6-person electrical engineering department. This is a leadership role for a licensed professional who is excited to contribute to a team, guide technical development, and participate in projects across Alaska.
Day to day, the successful candidate will lead, mentor, and manage a dedicated team of electrical engineers and EITs, while directly overseeing and contributing to the design of power, lighting, and signal systems for commercial, government, and institutional projects. They will also collaborate with in-house architecture, civil, structural, mechanical, and fire protection engineers and help set technical standards, improve quality processes, and engage in client meetings and planning efforts to support successful projects.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering
- Professional Engineering (PE) license
- 5+ years of experience in building systems design, power distribution, lighting, or similar
- Strong leadership and mentoring abilities
- Collaborative approach to problem-solving and project delivery
