Franklin Covey: The 4 Essential Roles of Leadership The Franklin Covey 4 Essential Roles of Leadership lays the foundation for leaders to achieve successful results in their decisions and their teams in a fast-changing world. The training explores the four essential roles of leaders: (1) to inspire trust, (2) to create a vision, (3) to execute strategy, and (4) to coach potential. Facilitated by University of Alaska Chief Human Resources Officer Keli Hite McGee, this two-day training provides organizational leaders with an understanding of these four roles and how they can help increase effective leadership. She has more than 20 years of professional experience. Areas of expertise include communication, human resources, change management and leadership consulting, training, and coaching. She has worked in various industries including healthcare, higher education, and with private, state and federal organizations. McGee is a University of Alaska Fairbanks alumna earning a bachelor’s in English (1990) and a master’s in professional communication in 2000.
