Choose Respect Luncheon

Choose Respect Luncheon: Engaging New Voices: Stronger Together Alaska has made lists of top ten most dangerous places to live in the US. People in our community, especially women, continue to experience partner violence and sexual assault at a rate far higher than the national average. Recent studies show that rates of violence are on a downward trend in Alaska. We know that there is still work to do, and it will take all of us. The Interior Alaska Center for Non Violent Living and the Rotary Club of Fairbanks invite the public to the 2017 Choose Respect Luncheon to hear about exciting and empowering ways to engage in violence prevention in Fairbanks and the Interior. The topic of the luncheon is Engaging New Voices: Stronger Together, and it takes place from Noon to 1p.m. on Thursday, March 23rd at the Carlson Center.
