Nominate Women of Excellence
Objectives of the Women of Excellence program:
- To honor and celebrate significant milestones, achievements and accomplishments of remarkable African-American women in the Greater Fairbanks area.
- To salute and congratulate these extraordinary women for being a shining example to other individuals in our community.
- To inspire more women to play an active role in society and contribute to the development of our community and country.
- To strengthen the network and support base of women to share information, experiences and expertise.
- To fund programs and purchase items needed for the JP Jones Community Development Center.
| The awards committee will consider nominations of African American women from the Greater Fairbanks Area who have contributed to the community through professional, family and personal endeavors. Current JPJCDC Board members cannot be considered for nomination. Awards Criteria: |

Presentations of awards will take place at the Women of Excellence Awards Dinner at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 22, 2014 at the JP Jones Center.
