The City of Fairbanks will be celebrating the 250th anniversary of the first public reading of the Declaration of Independence on July 8th from 11:00 am until 4:00 pm. We will join with communities across the nation with a reading of the Declaration of Independence at 2:00 pm Alaska time. There will be food trucks, games, face painting, bouncy house, Fairbanks Children's Museum exhibits, vehicle displays, tours, an Air Force flyover, a dunk tank, drone demonstrations, and lots more. This event is free and open to the public. Please come join us!
