Fairbanks, Alaska – Global Credit Union is excited to announce the grand opening of its newest branch, located inside the Eielson Exchange Shopping Center on Eielson Air Force Base.
The 300 square-foot Global kiosk is the first of its kind, offering the full range of Global Credit Union services and convenient access to the servicemen and women who call Eielson Air Force Base home.
“Global has a long history of providing credit union services to members of our military,” said Geoff Lundfelt, President and CEO of Global Credit Union. “In fact, the credit union was founded at the Alaska Air Depot in 1948. We could not be more excited to continue the tradition of serving those who serve this country.”
A grand opening ceremony will take place on January 25 from 10:45 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. (1045 – 1400 military time) at the Eielson Air Force Base Exchange. Global members and members of the public are invited to the grand opening but must have base access to attend.
