    General Description:
    The HR and Payroll Manager oversees personnel and volunteer compliance as it pertains to company, federal, state, and grantor requirements.  HR ensures staff receives assistance as needed with HR or payroll questions, provides training as necessary, and assists the Executive Director with staff relationships and documentation as needed.  HR will process bi-weekly payroll for all salaried and hourly employees and ensure time is reported to the proper grant.  This position will oversee front desk activities and all Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable tasks to ensure accuracy and timely processing.
    Minimum Qualifications
    • Experience in Human Resources and knowledge of compliance requirements of applicable entities
    •  Proficient in data entry with good MS Excel skills
    • QuickBooks experience with Payroll, AP, and AR
    • Must know how to prioritize projects
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills

    • Calm demeanor
    • Ability to consider multiple angles of a situation and provide counsel and/or direction
    • Must work well with many different types of personalities

    • Have excellent attention to detail
    • Must maintain confidentiality
    • Must have customer service skills
    • Must be 18 years old
    • Must be able to pass a background check
    • Must have reliable transportation and a good driving record

    Summary of Job Duties
    • Maintain personnel files

    • Track training compliance for staff and volunteers
    • Assist Executive Director in counseling and making decisions regarding staff
    • Establish working relationships with both on-site and remote staff
    • Process payroll accurately and timely
    • Oversee entry and processing of AP and AR using QuickBooks

    • Have a working comprehension of grants and finances and work with Executive Director to plan future budget needs
    • Oversee receptionist activities and performance and provide coaching as necessary
    • Assist with senior walk-ins as needed
    • Assist with monthly newsletter as needed
    • Other duties as assigned

    Position is Full-time 8:00 am - 4:30 pm, Monday thru Friday
