Maintenance Technician

A Fairbanks apartment community is hiring full time Building/Property Maintenance Technicians.

Maintenance Technicians are responsible for the overall maintenance of the apartment complex and all areas related to the day-to-day maintenance operations of the community.

 Applicants should have knowledge and use of basic hand and power tools. At least 1-2 years of construction labor or building maintenance experience is preferred. Must have the ability to follow oral and written instructions and maintain a professional and courteous manner with residents, visitors, contractors and fellow employees

Essential duties include but are not limited to:

• Electrical, plumbing, carpentry and painting 
• Repairing and treating structures such as showers, sinks, appliances, doors/cabinets, walls and building exteriors
• Cleaning out apartments
• Prepare units for new move-ins
• Complete groundwork such as: grounds pick up, sweeping, snow removal as needed and light landscaping

Wages start at $17-$19/HR DOE, Monday -Friday, 8:00 am - 4:30 pm 

Requirements:

• Background may be viewed
• Valid Driver’s License
• Reliable transportation needed daily and throughout shifts
• Valid insurance and registration
• Basic Hand tools
