    Job Description
    Position:      Electrical Engineer, PE
    Location:    Anchorage, Palmer, Fairbanks or Juneau (candidate preference)
    Pay Range:   DOE + excellent benefits
    A locally owned and operated Alaskan engineering firm is seeking a motivated professional electrical engineer registered in Alaska (or able to become registered) who can build their Electrical Engineering Department and expand their electrical engineering services into new markets and sectors while supporting their core disciplines in design and construction projects. This firm encourages innovation and using technology to creatively find solutions to interesting problems, and the successful candidate for this position will share these values. The position is full time (40 hours per week), permanent with benefits. However, applicants interested in part time (30 hours per week) are also encouraged to apply.

    Required Qualifications:
    • State of Alaska Electrical PE License (or ability to obtain within three months of hire)
    • Working knowledge of NEC, NESC, NFPA, and UL
    • Proficiency in MS Office
    • Experience with, or ability to learn industry design and analysis software and AutoCAD
    • Prior marketing and business development desired, but not essential
