    Would you like to:
    • Collect traffic data and performs traffic studies and analysis.
    • Collaborate with clients, utility companies, government agencies, and/or the general public to identify project constraints and develop design alternatives and concepts for transportation improvement projects.  
    • Develop and present design study reports in accordance with government agency criteria.   
    • Prepare plans, specifications, and engineer’s estimates for construction of: 
      • roadways, trails, traffic signals, and non-motorized transportation systems,
      • airport and aviation facilities including runways, taxiways, hardstands, and tug roads,   
      • roadway resurfacing and rehabilitation projects.
    • Perform other related duties as assigned.
    What you need:
    • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering required
    • Licensed - Professional Engineering license in Alaska or Washington or ability to obtain it within 6 months of hire.
    • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and Microsoft Office products.
    • Excellent written and verbal skills.  
    • Ability to work in a team environment with multi-discipline engineering staff at various experience levels.  
    • Desire to mentor junior staff to develop capabilities and career goals.  
    • Ability to market the firm’s and individual’s capabilities to expand client base and enhance relationships with current clients.
