    Are you a currently enrolled student looking for professional office experience to add to your resume? Please apply here! You will be joining a team dedicated to improving and maintaining student success initiatives UAF wide. The work will be both collaborative and independent. Applicants should be ready to learn on the job and preferably have experience with office-based software. An ideal candidate would also possess excellent organizational skills, computer skills and a desire to promote student success campus-wide.

     

    Duties:

     

    100Under the direction of the Student Success Coordinator works successfully within a team environment to facilitate departmental support and provides back up as needed. Under the guidance of the Student Success Coordinator support for office coverage which includes, but not limited to, handling incoming telephone calls, greeting and providing assistance to visitors, faculty, staff, and students while meeting work-related deadlines. Under the direction of the Student Success Coordinator assists with campus-wide communication and outreach. Assist with complex data systems & reports, website management, training materials, newsletter management, and events. Under the direction of the Student Success Coordinator provides assistance with any assigned projects.Essential

    KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:

    Must have the ability for attention to detail, possess organizational skills, and be able to articulate and communicate effectively. 
    Must have an understanding of handling confidential information.
    Preferred ability to work independently.

    TYPICAL EXPERIENCE:

    Must have prior experience with office based software.
    Preferred experience with website and data management.

    REQUIRED EDUCATION OR TRAINING:

    Must be a degree-seeking student enrolled in at least 6 credit hours. Must maintain a 2.0 GPA.

    This is a Student Assistant C; minimum starting pay is $10.50 per hour.

    Applicants must be enrolled as UAF students taking a minimum of 6 credits per semester with a minimum GPA of 2.0 or a newly enrolled student.
