• Academic Advisor and Recruitment Coordinator - College of Fisheries and Ocean Sciences

The College of Fisheries and Ocean Sciences seeks an Undergraduate Advisor and Recruitment/Outreach Coordinator who will increase our recruitment/outreach/marketing initiatives and assist our undergraduate students with a connected approach to advising.     Required education or training: Bachelor's degree in a related field (natural science/STEM field preferred but not required) and at least three years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of training and experience. Must have expertise in Microsoft Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). A valid driver's license and clean driving record in compliance with the UA Safe Driving criteria is required.

    This position is located on the Fairbanks campus and will be primarily onsite with opportunities for occasional hybrid work. This is a full-time, 12-month, exempt staff position complete with both a competitive salary and full employee benefits package. New hires will be placed on the UA staff salary schedule, Grade 79 starting at $2,086.40 bi-weekly. Initial salary placement above step 1 is based on education and experience.
