    Job Description

    The Interior Alaska Center for Non-Violent Living is looking for a passionate and energetic individual to fill our full time Receptionistposition. This position is responsible for answering a multi-line phone system, answering multiple doors through our security system, and accepting and receipting in donations and funds, all with great customer service skills and while maintaining confidentiality. The receptionist maintains several databases and QuickBooks companies and maintains our Facebook page. Lastly, this position also assists other personnel by making copies, organizing and ordering office supplies, distributing mail, mailing out payments, light cleaning of the business office, and other duties as assigned as needed.

    Minimum qualifications: High School Diploma or Equivalent; Three years of experience in the administration field to include experience in front desk management, customer service, filing and inventory control; Proficient in computer software to include at least one year experience with Word, Excel, Access and data base management; Excellent interpersonal, group, and written communication skills; Ability to multi-task and work under pressure while maintaining a calm demeanor; Ability to work with people from diverse backgrounds, cultures and lifestyles; Ability to pass background check.
