Project Coordinator - Geophysical Institute (GI)

Join the team bringing current science content into Alaska’s K-12 classrooms as the Project Coordinator for the Geophysical Institute’s Education Outreach Team. This team works with Alaska Native partners to create Alaska-based videos, lessons, and other learning tools. The Project Coordinator provides administrative and logistical support to the team and joins in staffing outreach events. Rural travel is involved.
This position is full-time, Grade 78, complete with a competitive salary and UA employee benefits package. New hires will be placed on the UA staff salary schedule, based on education and experience.
Required education or training: Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Journalism, Communications, Management or a related field and two years relevant experience or an equivalent combination of training and experience. A valid driver's license and clean driving record in compliance with UA safe driving criteria.
