Run from the Cops

"Run from the Cops" Walk & Run is a fun event for runners and walkers alike! A fun way to run from the cops without getting arrested. There will be certified officers who are running the race, you’re challenge will be to beat the cops to the finish line. This is a family oriented event so kids and strollers are welcome. For everyone’s safety, NO pets, bicycles, or roller skates/blades please. Registered participants can enjoy donuts, fruit, coffee & water while browsing the open house to provide a fun opportunity for kids and adults to view the police cars and equipment while interacting with police officers.

There will be a costume contest with prizes to be awarded for best costume, individually and as a group! There will also be awards for the top finishers.

The "Run from the Cops" is a fun event to bring officers closer to the community they proudly serve. The money raised will be donated to Wish Upon The North Star, a charity organization formed by Alaskan Residents to grant wishes to Alaskan Children with life threatening illnesses.

Race Shirts are limited, register early. If registration is not received by June 10th, Race Shirts will not be guaranteed. Register EARLY!

Bib Pickup: Wednesday, June 25th, 4pm to 6pm in the lobby at the Fairbanks Police Department.
