PenAir was purchased by RavnAir in December 2018, bringing the airline under the umbrella of Alaska’s largest regional airline. The RavnAir Group serves more than 115 destinations statewide.
Passengers will earn Ravn FlyAway Rewards points on either airline when flying between Fairbanks and Anchorage. To sign up for the program, visit flyravn.com.
The Fairbanks Chamber of Commerce will host a ribbon cutting at the airport when PenAir’s inaugural flight departs Fairbanks. The ribbon cutting will begin at 7 am. Members of the community are invited to come out and greet the first flight. Coffee and pastries will be served and there will be a give-away of two round trip tickets on RavnAir Alaska and PenAir flights between Fairbanks and Anchorage.
