Remaining Native follows Ku Stevens, a rising Native American athlete, as he pursues his dream of becoming a collegiate runner while confronting the intergenerational trauma of his great-grandfather’s escape from an Indian boarding school. This inspiring coming-of-age film weaves personal ambition with historical truth, exploring resilience, identity, and healing across generations.
