Parka Parade
The Parka Parade is a Winter Carnival event celebrating the art of parka making in the circumpolar region. Anyone can be in the Parade that has a parka they or someone else has made. This year we have five (5) categories in which the parkas will be judged: Adult Fabric, Adult Fur, Children?s fabric AND fur (as one category), Heirloom (those parkas over 50 years old) and a people?s choice award. Fantastic cash prizes will be awarded.
