There’s a movement happening across the country that indicates a drastic shift in the way consumers are choosing to spend their money. This economic shift includes two main themes: first, people want to know who they’re doing business with, and second, they want a unique experience. Fueled mainly by Millennials, but also fully reflected in Baby Boomer trends, America is choosing independently owned businesses.
How to Leverage Your Localness is a half-day workshop for small business owners to help them be better positioned to reach new customers while retaining regulars. The ideas in the workshop come from actual success stories from communities across the southwest and include a wide variety of businesses working together to tell their story better, to save marketing dollars, and to think more effectively about what types of partnerships can strengthen their business and their region.
