January First Friday Fairbanks

First Friday in January is all about cross-collaboration and crossing barriers. Exhibits open in restaurants, galleries, and shops to demonstrate the richness inherent in the collective, and include paintings from a student workshop in Yukon-Charley Rivers Preserve, an interactive public art installation (bring your cell phone!), and the grand opening of a nonprofit gallery dedicated to helping cancer patients in their recovery. Enjoy special sales, refreshments, and live music while you learn about the complex art of wood turning. It's all downtown on First Friday, and we invite you to join us!
